The advisory.
Milicuri Art Advisory is an independent art advisory firm that provides comprehensive collection management services that extend beyond simply buying art. With a commitment to connoisseurship and investment, we work closely with new and seasoned art collectors and help them cultivate their knowledge, build an identity for their collections, improve their positioning in the art market and gain confidence in their decisions.
While our main areas of specialisation are Contemporary European and American Art, we also excel in the brokerage of 19th- and 20th-century Masters and art advisory for digital art and AI-generated art. We maintain a tailored approach to our clients' projects, which vary from private to corporate collections, residential and hospitality environments, institutional collections, etc. We also provide estate management services and facilitate deaccessions to meet our clients' vision and long-term investment goals.
At MAA, we put collectors first. We believe in the democratisation of the art market and are committed to making it more accessible, transparent and personable. Our mission is to empower our clients to access inaccessible works of art and collect with confidence, and to make art collecting the fun, enjoyable and rewarding experience it should be.
The founder.
Mikaela Milicuri is a Cypriot-born London-based art advisor, curator, and lecturer, specialising in art sales, collection management, and investment portfolio development. Having lived in five countries and eight cities, she navigates the international art market confidently, combining her expertise with meaningful industry connections to help her clients build collections that suit their needs and contribute to their wealth. Specialising in Post-Modern and Contemporary Art, Mikaela works with selected private and corporate art collections that emphasise Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media, and New Media Art. She has also pursued projects in other sectors, from Impressionism to Surrealism to NFTs.
An art collector herself, her advisory services are informed by constant research and well-rounded experience in the art world, including working at the prestigious Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Venice Biennale, and managing several sales teams and marketing projects as a Gallery Director.
Mikaela holds an MA in Art History from UCL and will complete her PhD in Art Management in December 2023. She is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds lectureship positions at the University of London and the Sotheby's Institute of Art. With an ongoing mission to empower art collectors, Mikaela is currently writing her first book, Think, Live and Die like a Collector.
